About
Dorian McDaniel
My photography started during my college years in the late 1980's at Indiana University. I took photos all the time with a simple point-and-shoot Minolta film camera. A few years after college, my sister had a Canon AE-1 that was too complicated for her, and she gave it to me.

After fumbling with the AE-1 for a few years, my brother-in-law, who is a full-time professional photographer, started teaching me the basics, and I started to like shooting and the results started getting better.

The passion exploded when I had the opportunity to shoot all types of events for the Hendricks County Flyer in the late 1990's, and I've been doing it ever since, shooting:

-
Pro/College/High School/Kids sports
-
News events
-
Portraits, including seniors/family/kid/wedding/events
-
Nature

Through my work with the Flyer, I've been shooting Brownsburg sports since the early 2000's while with the Flyer. A few years ago, I started supplying the Brownsburg Athletic Department with photos.

With the number of events I attend, it was time to dedicate a website to share and offer these images just for Brownsburg High School.

If you see me at an event, come say "Hello!"
